Additional information

Several studies and or references have been identified allowing to define diisopropylamine acute toxicity to fish. The conclusion of the existing data analysis is that diisopropylamine is harmful to fish with LC50 -96h ranging from 22 to 75 mg/L. Some figures above 100 mg/L were also traced but the experimental conditions can explain this result. Water hardness for instance is demonstrated to be a factor influencing the acute toxicity.

BASF' study carried out in1985 has been identified as the key study for this endpoint with a toxicity figure of 26 mg/L.
