Diisopropylamine is not ready biodegradable according to the existing data and recent test results obtained in the frame of an OECD 310D test (Gancet, 2009).

In addition, a study was performed to assess the biodegradability of the diisopropylamine (DIPA) in an aerobic aqueous medium according to OECD 303A guideline. Based on the results of the DOC analyses conducted throughout the calculation period, DIPA showed a mean elimination of 0%.
