Additional information

Fish

FAT 40841/A TE had no acute and no observed effects on Danio rerio at the highest tested concentration of 100 mg/L. The NOEC value is equal to or greater than 100 mg/L.

Invertebrates

FAT 40841/A TE has no acute and no observed effects on Daphnia magna at the tested concentration of 100 mg/L (highest concentration according to Guideline). The NOEC value is equal to or greater than 100 mg/L.

Algae and aquatic plants

The EC50 >100 mg/L (7 days) indicates that FAT 40841/A TE is not acutely toxic to Lemna gibba and is therefore not classified.

The test item FAT 40841/A TE had a statistically significant inhibitory effect on the growth of Lemna gibba (growth rate and yield based on frond number and dry weight) after the exposure period of 7 days at the concentration of 10 mg/L and at all higher test concentrations. At all lower test item concentrations, the growth rate and yield based on frond number and dry weight were not statistically significantly lower than in the control. The EC10 value calculated from the experimental data was 93 mg/L, the NOEC was 3.2 mg/L.
