The biodegradation screening study conducted with 2 -methyl-N-(4-sulfamoylphenyl) prop-2-enamide (SPM-N) showed that no significant biodegradation of the substance in the environment is expected.No further data regarding biodegradation in water, sediment or soil systems are available. However, these are not part of the mandatory information requirements set in Annexes VII and VIII of Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006.
