Description of key information

The viscosity of the test substance was measured over a range of temperatures, 293.15- 333.15 K. The results demonstrate a trend of decreasing viscosity with increasing temperature. The viscosity of the test substance was found to be 0.893 mPa/s at 293.15 K, the lowest temperature, and 0.509 mPa/s at 333.15 K, the highest temperature.

Additional information

The viscosity of the test substance was determined over a temperature range of 293.15K to 333.15 K. An automatic microviscosimeter (Anton Paar type AMVn) equipped with an automatic timer (±0.01 s) was used. This instrument uses the rolling-ball principle according to DIN 53015 and ISO/DIS 12058, where a gold covered steel ball rolls down inside an inclined, sample-filled glass capillary (diameter 0.16 cm). The results demonstrate a trend of decreasing viscosity with increasing temperature. The viscosity of the test substance was found to be 0.893 mPa/s at 293.15 K, the lowest temperature, and 0.509 mPa/s at 333.15 K, the highest temperature.
