Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

Ionic liquids such as the title substance are designed to have very low vapour pressures which cannot be easily measured by experimental methods. Therefore QSAR was used to calculate the vapour pressure. Standard QSAR models (EPISuite, ACD) are not designed to be used with ionic substances, so the calculation used a model reported by Valderrame and Sanga (2008) which is specifically designed for use with ionic liquids.

The vapour pressure was calculated to be 1.26E-17 Pa. However the lowest value that can be reported in the chemical safety report is 1.0E-09 Pa
