Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The Koc values was determined to be 351 (acidic sandy soil), 395 (loamy sand) and 183 (alkaline sandy loam) respectively. The Koc values for each of the three soils are between 100 and 1000, therefore, the test item is not expected to be strongly immobile or strongly mobile in soil.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Koc at 20 °C:
395

Additional information

A study was performed for the Determination of the Adsorption Coefficient according to OECD TG 106. The adsorption test with the test item was conducted in acidic sandy soil (SC-1), loamy sand (Roger Myron-North) and alkaline sandy loam (Mutchler) and 0.01 M CaCl2 at a 5:1 solution to soil ratio. The Koc values was determined to be 351 (acidic sandy soil), 395 (loamy sand) and 183 (alkaline sandy loam) respectively. The results indicate that the test item, adsorbed to the SC-1, Roger Myron-North and Mutchler soils. The test item adsorbed between 25 - 53% for the three soils, but did not desorb readily from any of the soils. The Koc values for each of the three soils are between 100 and 1000, therefore, the test item is not expected to be strongly immobile or strongly mobile in soil.
