Conclusions:
Under the conditions of the test, the visocisty of of the test substance was determined to be 3.06 mm²/s at 20 ± 0.5 ºC.
Executive summary:

In a non-GLP compliant viscosity study conducted in line with standardised guidelines OECD 114 and EPA OPPTS 830.7100, the viscosity of the test substance was determined to be 3.06 mm2/s at 20 ± 0.5 ºC.

Description of key information

The viscosity of 1-phenylethyl acetate was determined to be 3.06 mm²/s at 20 ± 0.5 ºC according to a study performed in line with OECD Guideline 114 and EPA OPPTS 830.7100.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Viscosity:
3.06 mm²/s (static)
at the temperature of:
20 °C

Additional information

The key study (Givaudan, 2011h) was conducted in line with standardised guidelines but not to GLP with a sufficient level of detail to assess the quality of the study. The study was performed to a sufficient standard and was assigned a reliability score of 2 in accordance with Klimisch (1997).
