Description of key information

Based on the read-across approach from the analogue substance MPKO, the 96h-EC50 of OS3600 in Rainbow trout was determined to be >106 mg/L. The NOEC was 106 mg/L since no mortality or signs of toxicity were observed for 96 hours.

Additional information

Key study: Read-across approach from experimental data on the analogue substance MPKO:

A short-term toxicity test on fish was performed according to the OECD Guideline 203 (GLP study). Based on the read-across approach from the experimental data obtained with the analogue substance MPKO, the hydrolysis product of OS3600 (96h-LC50 in Rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) > 100 mg/L and the 96h-NOEC = 100 mg/L), the 96h-LC50 for OS3600 was determined to be >106 mg/L and 96h-NOEC = 106 mg/L for fish.
