Additional information

Short term fish

Key study: Read-across approach from experimental data on the analogue substance MPKO: Test method OECD Guideline 203, GLP study. The 96h LC50 value for rainbow trout was determined to be > 106 mg/L while the NOEC was 106 mg/L and the LOEC was >106 mg/L. Therefore, It can be concluded that the substance is not acutely toxic for fish.

Short term invertebrates

Key study: Read-across approach from experimental data on the analogue substance MPKO: Test method OECD Guideline 202, GLP study. The 48h EC50 (immobilisation) value for Daphnia magna was determined to be >106 mg/L, while the NOEC was >= 106 mg/L. Therefore, it can be concluded that the substance is not acutely toxic for invertebrates.

Short term algae

Key study: Read-across approach from experimental data on the analogue substance MPKO: Test method OECD Guideline 201, GLP study. The EbC50 (biomass) was determined to be 53 mg/L (95% CL: 50 -58 mg/L) and the ErC50 (growth rate) was 93 mg/L (95% CL: 76 -106 mg/L). The NOEC for both biomass and growth rate was 43 mg/L. Therefore, it can be concluded that the substance is not toxic for algae.
