Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
Prolonged exposure of Daphnia magna to L-709,594 resulted in mortalities in the parental (P1) generation at concentrations above 0.003 mg/L. Inhibition of reproduction occurred at concentrations in excess of 0.005 mg/L, but definite EC50 values could not be determined due to the low solubility of the compound in test media. The 21-day EC50 value is > 0.2 mg/L based on the mortality and reproductive inhibition.
Executive summary:

The"no-observed-effect concentration" has been estimated to be 0.003 mg/L on the basis of lethal and sub-lethal effects on the parental Daphnia.
