Description of key information

QSAR estimates for the 48 hr EC50 to aquatic invertebrates for members of this category range from 0.0015 to 0.92 mg/L. Measured data for the stream 97280-83-6 in the category, was reported to be >3.10mg/l

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Two studies were available from Evonik Oxeno (2009) for the stream 97280 -83 -6 which reported the toxicity based on the WAF. The studies reported a EC50s for Daphnia magna of >3.10 mg/l and >100 mg/l

In the absense of measured data for the other category members, QSAR estimates (ECOSAR, part of EPISuite V4.0 as recommeneded by the TGD) were used to predict toxicity based on representative members of the category. The 48 hr EC50 to aquatic invertebrates for members of this category range from 0.0015 - 0.92 mg/L.
