The substance is considered to be not readily biodegradable due to the results of an OECD 301B guideline study. It can be concluded that 'zinc phthalocyanine sulfonate' is likely to persist in the environment. Biodegradation simulation tests in water, sediment or soil are not proposed, since no relevant new findings are expected from such investigations.
