The partition coefficient determination was carried out using the HPLC Method, Method A8 of Commission Directive 92/69/EEC (which constitutes Annex V of Council Directive 67/548/EEC).
Testing was performed without pH adjustment to the mobile phase to ensure testing was performed at an environmentally relevant pH.
The partition coefficient of the test material has been determined to be >3.17 x 106, log10 Pow >6.50 (by percentage area normalisation, 96.7% of the test material had a log10Pow value greater than 6.50).
Substances having a log10 Pow greater than 3 are regarded as having the potential to bioaccumulate in the environment.
