Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The submission item was solved in arachis oil BP (peanut oil) in a concentration of 250 g/L in the OECD TG 407 study of Dunster & Watson (2012, Harlan Report no. 41103273). Thompson (2012, Harlan Report no. 41103489) found the submission item immiscible in dimethyl sulphoxide (DMSO) at 50 g/L but fully miscible in acetone at 100 g/L in solubility checks in a study according to OECD TG 471. Further acetone solubility data are reported from Flanders (2012, Harlan Report no. 41103491) where the submission item was formulated at 500 g/L in acetone in an OECD TG 476 test. Fox & White (2012, Harlan Report no. 41103263) prepared a solution in tetrahydrofuran with a concentration of 10.072 g/L as an HPLC sample for partition coefficient determination according to OECD TG 117.

No further experimental data are available for this endpoint. Nonetheless it can be assumed that the submission item is generally soluble in organic solvents due to the lipophilic properties as indicated by the Kow.
