The category selection has been made by similarity basis with a 50% threshold by Dice protocol (Atom centered fragmments) to select only a homogeneous set of compounds with the steroidal core.

The cyclopentane perhydrophenanthrene scaffold, key scaffold of all steroids, is present in all the analogues that were taken into account to make the assessment.

Moreover, most features such as functional groups are in common between the compounds that allow to use these compounds as a homologous series suitable for this assessment.

An in deep analysis had been carried out to verify that the calculation fallen in the applicability domain and the steroidal derivatives selected by the OECD ToolBox were appropriate for the assessment.

The prediction is based on 2 values within the range 3.75 - 4.29, log(1/mol/L)
