Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The study can be waived in accordance with REACH Annex VII, Column 2 as the substance decomposes before boiling. Decomposition was found to occur at temperatures above 210 ºC at 101.2 kPa.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The test material decomposed from 210 ºC at 101.2 kPa. As the test material decomposed, no value for boiling temperature could be determined by differential scanning calorimetry, using ASTM E537-86, Method 103 of the OECD Guidelines for Testing of Chemicals, 27 July 1995.

Supporting information is provided in the form of an EPI Suite calculation. A calculated value of boiling point gave a result of >400 ºC, using an adaptation of the Stein and Brown method (MPBPWIN, version 1.42, 02000 US Environmental Protection Agency).

The study was assigned a reliability score of 2 according to the principles for assessing data quality set out in Klimisch (1997).
