Applicant's summary and conclusion

Executive summary:

A single dose of 300 mg/kg bw phenyl isocyanate (or other congeners) in corn oil was administered by stomach tube to 10 male Swiss-Webster mice. Forty-eight hours later, the bilirubin concentrations of the surviving mice were determined. 0/7 animals died, no elevation of plasma bilirubin was detected.
