Additional information

Zinc 3,5-bis(α-methylbenzyl)salicylate) was tested for inhibition of reproduction of Daphnia Magna according to OECD Guideline 202. 4 x 10 daphnias were used for each test concentration (quadruplicates for each concentration). The exposure time was 21 days. The nominal concentrations tested were 0.056, 0.10, 0.18, 0.32, 0.56, 1.0, 1.8 and 3.2 mg/L. The test was carried out as a semi-static test with replacement of the test solutions three times per week. The lowest NOEC for the criteria investigated was 0.32 mg/L.
