Additional information

This substance (COASOL) is readily biodegradable and is not considered hazardous to the environment or human health. In accordance with column 2 of REACH Annexes IX and X, toxicity testing on terrestrial organisms (required in section 9.4) shall be proposed by the registrant if the chemical safety assessment indicates the need to investigate further the effects on terrestrial organisms. Since this substance is not classified as hazardous to the environment, no chemical safety assessment is required nor is any additional ecotoxicity testing. Hence, testing of effects on terrestrial organisms can be waived for COASOL.
