PBT assessment: overall result

PBT status:
the substance is handled as if it were a PBT/vPvB
Justification:

Since the substance is a multiconstituent the assessment should focuss on all components and impurities over 0.1% (Guidance on information requirements and Chemical safety report: Chapter R.11).

When no experimental data exist, QSAR models have been used (mostly EpiSuite 3.20 modules and US EPA PBT profiler).

For all the impurities the conclusion is: No PBT or vPvB.

The second component of this substance have been assessed by different Authorities for the PBT potential properties and they highlighted the possible properties of PBT or vPvB of the component. However, no definitive conclusions have been reached due to the lack of testing data. Most part of screening was supported by one single QSAR model.

As a consequence in the meantime this assessment will be done as the worst scenario, as per PBT substance.
