Although there are no data available concerning the long-term toxicity to aquatic invertebrates, the substance is considered with high probability chronically not harmful to aquatic invertebrates. A study is available in order to determine the long-term toxicity to Daphnia magna of of one member of the category ofderivatives of 4,4’-bis(1,3,5-triazinyl-2-yl)amino)stilbene-2,2’-disulfonic acid, each with one anilino and one alkyl amino moiety. The study demonstrates that the analogue substance is with a high probability chronically not harmful to aquatic invertebrates.

EC 432-690-8: In a long-term toxicity study (21 d) of the test substance on Daphnia magna, no toxic effects occurred at the test concentration of 3.2 mg/L (Clariant 2004). Therefore, the test substance is considered not to produce reproductive toxicity in aquatic invertebrates.
