No experimental studies investigating the abiotic hydrolysis of 2-(1-methylethoxy)ethyl acetate (CAS 19234-20-9) are available. Validated QSAR calculations (HYDROWIN v2.00 and SPARC v4.5) indicate, that hydrolysis is not a relevant pathway for the environmental fate of 2-(1-methylethoxy)ethyl acetate in the environment, with DT50 values of 304.8 d at pH 7 and 30.5 d at pH 8 (Corti, 2011).
