Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

With high probability acutely not harmful to daphnids, no toxic effects occur in the range of water solubility.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The EC50 value (geometrical mean) of the test substance in Daphnia magna was calculated to be 56 mg/L (RCC 1999). In the same study, a EC0-value of 36.3 mg/L concerning the relevant sublethal endpoints was observable. The water solubility of the test item was determined to be 34.7 mg/L. Since the EC0 was found to be above water solubility, the tested substance is with high probability acutely not harmful to daphnids.
