Additional information

In accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006, Annex VIII, column 2, the study does not need to be conducted if based on the physicochemical properties the substance can be expected to have a low potential for adsorption (e.g. the substance has a low octanol-water partition coefficient). The log Kow of the substance is <3 (2.68 as determined) showing that this substance has a low potential for adsorption and no tests have to be conducted.

The Koc was estimated from the logKow of 2.68 based on the following equation: logKOC = 0.49 logKOW + 1.05 = 2.36 (Sablijk and Güsten, 1995). Thus, the substance is expected to have a medium mobility in soil according to the classification scheme of McCall et al. (1981).
