By applying weight of evidence approach the endpoint values for target was assessed as follows- EC50-117.0316 mg/L,LC 50 value of target was predicted to be 2.7 mg/l. However the data was insufficient to classify the substance in aquatic chronic category. Thus considering the weight of evidence approach for target and readacross values it was concluded that phenetole does not exhibit toxicity toaquatic invertebrate.
