Results and discussion

Any other information on results incl. tables

The substance was detected in Swiss waste water treatment plants in a study conducted in 1996.  Concentrations in the influent were between <0.015 mg/l to 0.25 mg/l.  The highest concentration found was associated with a significant input from the textile industry.  For all plants, the substance could not be detected in effluent. In a later paper, the same author reports 93% removal over a two-week period in a German plant. Concentrations in the influent were between 0.06 mg/l to 0.33 mg/l.
