Description of key information

A simultaneous study using 6 different invertebrate species.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Fresh water invertebrates

Fresh water invertebrates
Effect concentration:
100 mg/L

Additional information

A simultaneous toxicity study using seven species, one vertebrate and six invertebrates was conducted at two nominal concentrations, 10 and 100 mg/L in a static test. Analytical verification of the exposure concentrations was not conducted as the substance is not volatile and has a low tendency for sorption. No mortality was observed in the control or test concentrations. In the study Daphnia magna were exposed for 48 hours, while the remaining species were exposed for 96 hours. The LC/EC50s for all species were > 100 mg/L and the NOECs were ≥ 100 mg/L.
