One study investigating the toxicity of Fatty acids, tallow, Me esters, epoxidized (CAS No. 91051-90-0) to aquatic microorganisms is available. The study was conducted under static conditions and according to GLP and OECD guideline 209 using domestic, non-adapted activated sludge as inoculum (Hammer 2012). Nominal test substance concentrations between 62.5 and 1000 mg/L were applied. No respiration inhibition was observed in any treatment compared to the control after a test period of 3 h. Thus, the EC10 (3h) is determined to be > 1000 mg/L.
