Reliability:
1 (reliable without restriction)
Rationale for reliability incl. deficiencies:
guideline study
Qualifier:
according to guideline
Guideline:
other: OECD Guidelines for the Testing of Chemicals no. 105: "Water Solubility", July 27, 1995
Deviations:
no
Qualifier:
according to guideline
Guideline:
other: EU Method A.6: “Water Solubility”, Official Journal of the European Union no. L142, May 31, 2008
Deviations:

Key result
Medium:
n-octanol
Solubility:
< 1.1 g/L
Temp.:
20.2 °C
Details on results:
- After addition of a total volume of 10 ml n-octanol in the 1st experiment, the test substance had still not dissolved
- Also in the 2nd experiment, the test substance had still not dissolved completely
- Based on the results from the 2nd experiment, the n-octanol solubility was concluded to be < 1.1 g/l
Conclusions:
The approximate solubility of the substance in n-octanol was determined using visual observation in accordance with OECD 105 (1995), EU Method A.6 (2008) and according to GLP principles. The n-octanol solubility of the substance is < 1.1 g/l at 20.2°C.

Description of key information

The n-octanol solubility of the substance was visually determined to be < 1.1 g/L at 20.2°C.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The approximate solubility of the substance in n-octanol was determined using visual observation in accordance with OECD 105 (1995), EU Method A.6 (2008) and according to GLP principles.
