Additional information

One study is available from the migrated NONs files provided by ECHA. This study is found to be fairly unreliable, as there is no data provided on whether the study has been undertaken according to GLP standards, or if a guideline was followed. However, the result has been taken as valid as this is an available study, and the desire is to not repeat animal tests.

The oral NOAEL for N-(n-octyl)-2-pyrrolidinone is therefore found to be 200 mg/kg bw/day.
