Description of key information

The substance showed two endothermic effects, the first at the temperature range 30 - 85°C and the second at the temperature range 185 - 250°C (Franke J, 2002).

Thermal stability of was determined according to a guideline study, using differential scanning calorimetry (Mettler-Toledo TA8000).The test substance and the standard reference substance were heated up from room temperature to the final temperature (360°C) in closed glass crucible at a constant heating rate (3K/min) under nitrogen. The quantity of heat absorbed or given off was measured and recorded. Approximately 11 mg of the test substance was used. The test substance showed two endothermic effects, the first at the temperature range 30 - 85°C and the second at the temperature range 185 - 250°C (Franke J, 2002).
