Type:
log Pow
Partition coefficient:
3.98
Temp.:
23 °C
pH:
6.8

Deviation: Due to the low solubility of the fluoranthene standard in the solvent, only five calibration points were used to construct the calibration curve. This deviation from the study plan has no negative impact on study results. There were no other deviations from study plan and/or quoted method during the study.

Conclusions:
Partition coefficient (log P) of the test item, Ethylcentralit, is:
log Pow = 3.98 ± 0.42 (pH 6.8, 23°C)
Executive summary:

The partition coefficient of the test item, Ethylcentralit, was determined.

Based on the results of the preliminary estimation of the partition coefficient by a calculation method, the HPLC method was used for the main experiment.

The procedure was performed according to Method A.8. – Partition Coefficient, Council Regulation (EC) No.440/2008, Published in O.J. L 142, 2008.

Partition coefficient (log P) of the test item, Ethylcentralit, is:

log Pow = 3.98 ± 0.42 (pH 6.8, 23°C)

Description of key information

Few data describe the partitioning behavior of ethyl centralite. All values Log Kow were received by calculation method.

Key experimental study provide this result:

Partition coefficient (log P) of the test item, Ethylcentralit, is: log P = 3.98±0.42 (23 °C, pH = 6.8)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Log Kow (Log Pow):
3.98
at the temperature of:
23 °C
