Description of key information
According to Annex IX, column 2, point 9.3.2 of the REACH Regulation, as amended by Regulation (EU) 2021/979 performance of a bioaccumulation study in aquatic or sediment species is not required due lack of surface activity and the low log Kow (independent from pH) of the substance.

According to Annex IX, column 2, point 9.3.2 of the REACH Regulation, as amended by Regulation (EU) 2021/979, a bioaccumulation study in aquatic or sediment species does not have to be conducted because Calcium (S)-lactate is not surface active and has a low octanol-water partition coefficient (log Kow < 3), indepently from pH, thus the potential for bioaccumulation is insignificant.
