Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

As no one study was robust enough to be considered as key on its own, a weight of evidence approach was used. The values obtained were as follows:
Density.001: The density ranged from 0.827 g/cm^3 at 20 ºC to 0.798 g/cm^3 at 60 ºC.
Density.002: The density at 25 ºC is 0.8235 g/cm^3. Range from 0.841 g/cm^3 at 0 ºC - 0.701 g/cm^3 at 200 ºC
Density 003: The density at 25 ºC is 0.8235 g/cm^3.

Additional information

No methodological information is available for either of the studies. As such, both were assigned a Klimisch rating of 4, and therefore neither could be considered robust enough to be a key study. A weight of evidence approach was adopted.

The value given at 25 ºC is the same for Density.002 and Density.003. Density.001 and Density.002 have similar values for the measurements taken. Both endpoints measure density rather that relative density and as such the key value box can not be populated.
