The LC50 value of 4-fluorophenol on Aquatic invertebrate Photobacterium phosphoreum for 30 min was found to be 19.5 ppm . Considering this LC50 value, it can be concluded that 4-fluorophenol will exhibit short term toxicity to aquatic invertebrate in aquatic chronic category 3.
