- Amounts applied: 0.1 and 0.3 mL undiluted test substance.
Duration of treatment / exposure:
Single application
Details on study design:
Two incubated hen eggs were traeted with the undiluted test substance.
Tested irritation parameters were haemorrhagia and coagulaton. Time (seconds) of appearance as well as grading of effects (0-3) were noted.
Aditional findings were noted as well.

Results and discussion

In vitro

Results
Irritation parameter:
other: time until appearance of coagulation
Run / experiment:
mean after 1s
Value:
3
Remarks on result:
other: undiluted test substance
Other effects / acceptance of results:
In both exposed eggs severe coagulation occured within 1 second after exposure. Haemorrhagia was not observed within appearance of coagulation.
In addition to the severe coagulation, intravascular coagulation and vessel lysis was observed.
