Additional information

Acute tests on all three trophic levels were performed to examine the aquatic toxicity of the test substance. The most sensitive effect concentration was derived from toxicity testing with the algal species Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata (BASF SE 2012) which resulted in an ErC50 of 19.2 mg/L. Thus, the substance must be considered as acutely harmful to aquatic organisms.

Additionally, information on long-term effects of the test substance were obtained from experiments with algae and daphnia. Toxicity testing with the latter species resulted in the more sensitive NOEC value of 3.08 mg/L (BASF China 2012).
