Additional information

The acute toxicity of 1,1-dimethylheptanethiol to Daphnia magna gave a 48-hour EC50 of 0.090 mg/L, based on the initial measured concentrations. The acute toxicity of 1,1 -dimethylheptanethiol to Daphnia magna was determined in a 48 -hour static renewal study following OECD guideline 202 (Goodband 2012). Due to the extremely volatile nature of the substance, the tests were conducted in completely filled, sealed vessels, with effect concentrations based on the initial measured concentrations. The GLP-compliant, guideline study is available as an unpublished report and is considered reliable and suitable for this endpoint.
