Remarks on result:
other: HPLC method
Details on results:
Based on the calibration curve of the HPLC reference standards and the capacity factors for reference and test substances, it was extrapolated that the test substance has an experimentally determined log Kow >10 . Capacity factor k for the test substance was greater than that of didecyl phthlate.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The octanol water partition cofficient (Kow) was experimentally determined using the OECD 117 partition coefficient HPLC test method. The test substance had an experimentally determined log Kow > 10.
Executive summary:

The octanol water partition cofficient (Kow) was experimentally determined using the OECD 117 partition coefficient HPLC test method. The test substance had an experimentally determined log Kow > 10. This indicates that the test substance is highly lipophilic. The high log Kow >10 finding is consistent with the chemical structure, high MW and physico-chemical properties for the test substance.
