Description of key information

A study for the endpoint 'hydrolysis' has not been performed for magnesium bis(dihydrogenorthophosphate). An adaptation from the standard testing regime is justified on the following basis:
Magnesium bis(dihydrogenorthophosphate) is an inorganic ionic salt, consisting of magnesium cations and the phosphate anions. There is no potential mechanism for further hydrolysis. In addition, the phosphate ion itself is the final common hydrolysis product of higher polyphosphates.
