Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

For an isolated, transported intermediate aquatic toxicity data for two trophic levels (usually invertebrates and algae) are required. Reliable data are available for two trophic levels (algae and fish), whereas fish (as a secondary consument) is considered to be at least as sensitive as invertebrates.

Conclusion on classification

Available data on aquatic toxicity of the submission substance are acute toxicity on fish, algae and microorganisms. No toxicity was found in any of these tests at saturation concentration of the test item or 1000 mg/L (activated sludge respiration inhibition test). Therefore, the test item may be regarded as nontoxic to aquatic organisms.

As no toxicity had been observed in any of the available tests, no environmental classification is required.
