Short description of key information:
According to published data on the US EPA website 1-chlorododecane was tested in a combined oral repeated-dose/reproductive/developmental toxicity screening study. In this study administration of the test item by gavage no reproductive effects were observed. The NOAEL for reproductive effects is therefore 1000 mg/kg bw/day (highest dose tested).

According to published data on the US EPA website 1 -chlorododecane was tested in a combined oral repeated-dose/reproductive/developmental toxicity screening study. In this study administration of the test item by gavage caused developmental effects including reductions in pup survival, pup body weight and pup body weight gain at the highest dose of 1000 mg/kg bw/day. The NOAEL for developmental toxicity is 300 mg/kg bw/day. The effects observed are well within the range of maternal toxicity (LOAEL 300 mg/kg bw/day).
