Executive summary:

A bioaccumulation test in fish was performed by MITI. A range finding study was performed on Rice fish (Oryzias latipes) were LC50 after 48 hours exposure was > 80 mg/L. In the main test, carp fish (Cyprinus carpio) were exposed to 0.8 (1st concentration area) and 0.08 mg/L (2nd concentration area) test substance during 6 weeks. The lipid content was 3.5%. The biocconcentration factor (BCF) was determined to be 24-49 L/Kg at an enviornmental concentration of 0.8 mg/L, and 72-184 L/Kg at an environmental concentration of 0.08 mg/L.

The main component of this multiconstituent substance have an extreme log Pow and a high molecular weight and considered as not bioavailable. The components are unlikely to cross biological membranes. Applying Lipinski´s Rule of Five, the substance is not bioavailable and therefore, there is no potential for bioaccumulation.
