Additional information

Diisodecyl azelate (CAS 28472-97-1) is regarded as readily biodegradable. The substance is thus expected to be rapidly degraded by microorganisms in both the aquatic and terrestrial environments, therefore in accordance with Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006, 9.2.1.2 – 9.2.1.4, further simulation testing for water and sediment or soil biodegradation is not necessary.
