- yes
- Interpretation of results:
- readily biodegradable
- Conclusions:
- The test item showed a mean biodegradation of 98% after 14 days.
- Executive summary:
The study was performed with an 40% aqueous solution under GLP in 1995 according to EU-testing method C.4 "Dissolved Organic Carbon (DOC) Die Away Test". A concentration of 216 mg/l DOC was tested. As the plateau phase was already reached after 5 days, the study was stopped after 14 days. Based on the mean biodegradation rate of 98% after 14 days, the test item can be regarded as "readily biodegradable".
