Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

No experimental data are available for the assessment of the chronic toxicity of the substance to aquatic invertebrates.

Therefore, the assessment was performed with the QSAR Toolbox v4.4 calculation model (BASF SE, 2021). Three 21 -d NOECs for long-term toxicity to Daphnia magna were derived using trend analysis: two NOECs based on reproduction and one based on mortality. Although the three derived models use different grouping approaches, the NOECs are very similar ranging from 13.2 to 16.8 mg/L. The substance was within the applicability domain of all three models.

These results are in accordance with the results of the studies on the short-term toxicity to aquatic invertebrates (see IUCLID Ch. 6.1.3).

It can be concluded, that long-term effects are not to be expected.
