Description of key information

Half life period of 3,5-diiodosalicylic acid  in Soil was observed to be 1800 hrs (75 days) which  which  does not exceed the threshold of 120 days. Based on this half life value it is concluded that 3,5-diiodosalicylic acid is readily biodegradable in soil.
