Additional information

Data are not available to allow the distribution of diisotridecyl 3,3'-[(dibutylstannylene) bis(thio) ]dipropionate within the environment to be modelled. The performance of an adsorption/desorption study is not feasible based on the properties of the compound. In addition water solubility and LogPow values are not available as the performance of these studies is also technically not feasible. In the water solubility study diisotridecyl 3,3'-[(dibutylstannylene) bis(thio) ]dipropionate undergoes immediate hydrolysis. Based on the known behaviour of similar compounds, diisotridecyl 3,3'-[(dibutylstannylene) bis(thio) ]dipropionate will be insoluble in water and will be primarily associated with soils and sediment. For the purpose of risk assessment a solubility of 1 mg/L (a default value chosen based on its low solubility) and a Koc of 2000 ml/g have been used to model the behaviour of dibutyltin methyl maleate in the environment.
