The substance did not show any toxic effects, either short-term or long-term, by oral or dermal exposure at does levels up to 1000 mg/kg bw/day. The substance was not an irritant or sensitiser to skin, therefore it is not scientifically justifiable to derive DNELs for dermal, inhalation or oral exposure.

The substance displayed an IVIS score of 60.47 in the Bovine Corneal Opacity and Permeability (BCOP) assay (OECD 437). The substance is classified as corrosive or severely irritating to the eye. A qualitative risk assessment will be performed to control the risk to eyes.
